Velo Noir

Velo Noir is a Wear OS watch face built around a single cinematic moment: a sleek sports car caught mid-speed on a rain-slicked night road, rendered entirely in high-contrast black and white ink and charcoal illustration.

The artwork draws on fine crosshatching, dense shading, and sharp ruled ink strokes to convey motion as something almost sculptural. Light trails streak and dissolve across the composition, wet asphalt reflects in intricate hatch marks, and the deep near-black background swallows the edges of the frame.
